Hashtag pages show how a tag is performing over time, where it’s popular, what it travels with, and the posts behind the numbers.

Trend charts

Views and post counts over time, plus chart-rank history where the hashtag appears in regional trend charts. The visible range follows your plan’s history window.

Related hashtags

A network diagram of the hashtags most often used together with this one, sized by how frequently they co-occur on the same posts. It’s the fastest way to map a niche: the cluster around a tag is its community.

By default the network reflects recent co-occurrence; the all-time toggle widens it to everything busypipe has ever seen for the tag.

Territories

Related hashtags shows every connection at once, as a single network. Territories group those same connections into communities, so you can see the worlds a hashtag belongs to rather than a flat list of related tags.

Each circle is one territory, and its area is that territory’s share of the hashtag’s connections — a large circle means most of the hashtag’s connections come from that one group. The smaller circles inside are the individual tags. Select a territory to see everything in it.

Territories are calculated over the last 30 days. A hashtag that hasn’t been used alongside enough other tags yet won’t have enough signal to map, and shows a note in place of the chart. One with only a small sample still gets a map, with a note that the shares are rough.

Insights

Click Analyze to turn a hashtag’s related-tag data into a short, plain-language read — which tags dominate the conversation, hidden spelling variants of the same tag, week-over-week movers, and smaller tags that punch above their weight on reach. Paid plans include a monthly pool of Analyze credits; the counter next to the button shows how many are left, and it resets on the 1st of each month.

Insights are built only from activity within the period you’ve selected. If a hashtag has gone quiet lately, a short window (like the default 7 days) may not hold enough recent pairings to say anything useful. When that happens, Analyze tells you so and points you to a longer period rather than showing an empty report — widen the period at the top of the page and analyze again. A report that comes back empty doesn’t cost a credit, so it’s safe to try.

Regions

A map and leaderboard of where the hashtag is used most, built from the regional charts and posts busypipe collects. Useful for spotting tags that are huge in one market and untouched in another.

Tracking a hashtag

Add a hashtag to a portfolio to keep its content flowing in: busypipe then fetches the tag’s posts on a regular cadence, which also feeds the trend charts and the related-hashtags network.

If you track a hashtag that doesn’t have any posts on TikTok yet — a brand-new campaign tag, for example — the detail page shows a “Resolving — no posts yet” banner instead of empty charts. This is expected for a not-yet-active tag; the page fills in with normal data automatically once the hashtag becomes active on TikTok.
