The Search page lets you find TikTok profiles, hashtags, and audio tracks to add to your portfolios. It supports two search tiers: searching your existing database and searching TikTok directly.
How to search
- Click Search in the sidebar
- Enter a search term (at least 2 characters)
- Two tabs appear: My Library and TikTok Live
My Library
The My Library tab shows results from your existing database instantly, in three columns — Users, Hashtags, and Audio. It’s free and immediate.
TikTok Live
Not finding what you need in your library — whether it’s empty or the results aren’t the right ones? Switch to the TikTok Live tab to search TikTok directly:
- Open the TikTok Live tab (or click Search TikTok live from an empty library result)
- Pick a region from the dropdown (e.g., United States, Germany, Japan)
- Click the search button — it reads Search TikTok for “your term” the first time, then Update results after — and fresh results load in the same three columns
- Results you find are saved to your library for next time
Search by meaning
Switch the search to By meaning and describe what you’re looking for in plain language (“morning routine hooks”, “skincare unboxing”). Instead of matching exact keywords, it finds the posts whose content is closest in meaning — a fast way to explore a topic across the profiles we track. It looks across the profiles we track rather than all of TikTok, so coverage grows as more profiles are added. Available on Starter and above.
Adding to a portfolio
- Select a portfolio from the dropdown at the top of the page
- Click Add next to any result (profile, hashtag, or audio track)
- The item is added to your portfolio and starts tracking automatically
Search columns

Tips
- My Library is instant and free — TikTok Live searches use your API quota, so reach for them when your library doesn’t have what you need.
- Use regions — online search results vary by country. Try different regions to find local creators.
- Create a portfolio first — you need at least one portfolio to add items from search results.
